Founded by Chavane "Mulamula" Maluleke, our traditional authority has preserved Xitsonga customs and leadership for over 200 years.

Traditional Leadership

Our Royal Council, established in 1992, provides governance and development leadership to our four villages.

Who We Are

The Mulamula Traditional Community is situated in Malamulele-West and is composed of four villages: Magangeni (Mbhayimbhayi), Maveke (Nhombelani), Bulwini (Dumela), and Muswane (Muswani).

Our authority is recognised under the Constitution of South Africa, 1996 (ss 211 & 212), the Traditional & Khoi-San Leadership Act 3 of 2019, the Traditional Leadership & Governance Framework Act 41 of 2003, and the Limpopo Traditional Leadership & Institutions Act 6 of 2005.
